I partner with AI to create art that interprets dreams. The ability of AI to generate imagery from non-sequiturs and the complexity of the human unconscious makes this an ideal creative pairing.

Process
It all starts with a prompt, a unique and descriptive sequence of words, that is then given to the AI to interpret. The AI then returns images based on the prompt and its own learning models. Those images are fed back into the AI and new images are generated based on that previous set to further refine and explore variations.

Dozens of image generations are created but only a few are selected to be combined into one final image. The selected images are combined, edited and color corrected in Photoshop. That single combined image is then brought into Procreate for final overpainting.
